Disciplinary measurements within the administrative order
An act on the administrative proceeding - in the legislative jargon called the administrative order - is valid for those proceedings, which deal with decisions about law, vested interests or duties of individuals and corporate bodies in the domain of civil service. Activities of the civil service are conducted by ministries and other central bodies of civil service, other bodies of civil service with a countrywide cognisance, regional councils, communities - in the sector of a transferred cognisance, accredited community councils and other regional bodies of civil administration of the Czech Republic.

Findings of the Constitutional Court Plenum 20/21 to the bill on nullifying of a generally binding regulation of Plchov on local fees
A problem of an independent cognisance of a community and its capacity to issue generally binding regulations poses a very frequent question concerning self-government. Another rather important area of problems concerns local fees. The finding of the Constitutional Court is addressing both problems.

European look on local administration (Part I.)
The Czech Republic became a corporate member of The International Institution of Administrative Sciences last year. New mechanisms and approaches are sought to gain more effective means of fulfilling set European criteria such as: explicitness of governance, sharing the governance with citizens, responsibility of governing politicians, efficiency and cohesion of governance. A new way of activities of local administration should be focused on self-organisation, creating of network among organisations, sufficient autonomy and exchange of resources.

Austrian legislative in the matter of protection of victims of domestic violence. A violator could be officially expelled from home
At the end of the last year, a workshop was held in Vienna to enable an exchange of experiences with equal opportunities of men and women, with protection against domestic violence and violence on women generally. The organizer was the Austrian Ministry for Social Affairs and generations together with the European Commission Directorate-General for enlargement of the EU. Czech Republic was represented by representatives from the Interior Ministry and the Ministry for Labour and Social Services. The most beneficial part of the workshop was the one devoted to the experiences with protecting children from the domestic violation.
