Archive Groups in the Czech Republic

Documents of permanent value deposited in the archives (historical records) form archive fonds and archive collections (collectively also called archive groups). They are the basic registered units in archives. If you do not succeed in finding the archive group searched for, send a query to the address arch@mvcr.cz (e.g. "I cannot find anything about the People's Militia. Which words should I enter?") Taking into account the number of processed queries, you will receive an answer within approx. three days. Queries about the contents of the pages can be sent to the address webmaster@mvcr.cz.
